October was Canadian School Library Month so we had a ‘BookFace’ photo contest to celebrate. Congratulations to our winners: Caleb Arsenault, Leanne Arsenault, Jessica McCarthy, Madison Clinton, Malcolm Ross, Ryder Howatt, and Tyler Rogers. See Mrs. Tremere for your prizes.
The Royal Canadian Legion Borden-Carleton Branch #10 is inviting students to enter the Annual Remembrance Day Poster & Literary Contest. Gr. 9 falls under the intermediate category while Gr. 10-12 is senior. Students may submit poetry, essays, black & white posters and colour posters. Deadline is Nov. 10. Entry forms are available in the Library.
The Library will be closed for the day on Friday, November 5th. It will also be closed today during Block C.
Soccer uniforms are to be handed in this week.
Volleyball will start today in the gym. All four teams will be playing. Students are to bring an extra pair of gym sneakers when using the gym at lunch time.
