TODAY’S ANNOUNCEMENTS
Congratulations to Madison Trainor who will be the next years’ student council vice-president. Thanks to Morgan MacLellan who will be an executive member on the student council and thanks to Carley Affleck who will be the president. Many thanks to all of you for undertaking these student leadership roles for the school.
The Blazer Showdown will continue today in the gym. Congratulations to Liam Arsenault as he was the winner for the Grade 9’s on Friday. The finals are today with the following students competing: Owen Longuepee, Carmen Moffatt, Luke MacCormack, and Liam Arsenault. Any teachers who would like to compete can do so after the students. Those students are to be in the gym at 11:45 today. The student council members are to be in the gym at 11:35 to help set up.
Today, is color day in honor of the finals for the Blazer showdown. Grade 9’s color is white, Grade 10’s color is green, Grade 11’s color is red, and Grade 12’s color is blue. Whichever grade has the best percentage of people wearing their color, the grade rep in the Blazer showdown will get 3 extra points towards their score. The student council will be around sometime throughout the day to see what grade has the best percentage.
Mark you calendars….this Friday is FRY Day! The Animal Science class will be selling French fries from the Cavendish Farms Fry Truck. French fries will be sold for $3.00 and all proceeds will go to the KRHS Relay for Life.
